New Donation-Based Class
Every Saturday at 2 pm in our San Telmo studio, Carlos Calvo 950, Christine Gilbert teaches a vinyasa flow yoga class. All yogis are welcome, and you only need to pay what you can and feel is appropriate. The more the merrier!
This workshop will explore the meaning of home in a transitory world. Where is home if not right here, inside the very skin that envelopes you?
We are globally connected and free to work, live, and create our lives wherever we want. In this way, we are redefining our questions around home and belonging.
Join Amie for a journey inward, using different art modalities to explore story and the sense of home.
As an inspiration and guide, we will read the story “Sealskin, Soulskin” from the book Women Who Run with the Wolves, and explore our inner sense of home using different art modalities like movement, vocal expression, writing, drawing, and collage.
What to Bring:
A pen, notebook, and a small object that inspires a feeling of home at this moment in your life. It can be an object found in nature or a small keepsake. We will collage and paint these objects. Please bring an object you feel comfortable altering in this way.
